Office Party

Valmistaudun työpaikan epäviralliseen illanviettoon. Lähtökohdat tähän iltaan ovat mainiot.. olen varma, että tästä illasta jää vielä jälkipolville kerrottavaksi jokin hassunhauska ja (minun näkökulmastani) nolo tarina, sillä illanistujaiset eivät ole varsinaisen työpisteeni järjestämät ja toisin kuin ilmottautuessani luulin paikalle ei tule ketään minulle jo entuudestaan tuttuja. Onneksi olen sosiaalinen olio.

Illanistujaiset järjestetään nyyttäri (sekä bring your own bottle) periaatteella, joten kiikutan mukanani coctailpiirakoita, munavoita ja pullollisen valkoviiniä. Jos en muuta tekemistä keksi, niin eipähän ainakaan pääse nälkä tai jano yllättämään.

TRANSLATION

In few hours I'm heading to an unofficial office party. I'm sure that tomorrow I'll have some funny but embarrassing (for me) story to tell about the party since the start up is so great. The party is not held by the office where I work even though we are all working in a same company which means that I won't know anyone at the party (did not know that when I sign up for the party). Luckly I'm sociable creature.

The office party is a bring-dish party (and also bring your own bottle party) so I'll bring some tiny karelian pasties and a bottle of white wine with me. I reckon I'll be just fine.
